If someone had told me back in 2011 that a simple college hoodie order would one day grow into one of India’s leading customization companies, I probably would have laughed.

At that point, I was just another college student trying to survive assignments, attendance shortages, and figuring life out.

I was a PUC class representative, and one day I got the responsibility of arranging hoodies for our class. It honestly felt like just another college task. had no business plan. No investors. No roadmap. No clue what I was doing.

But something unexpected happened.

Other classes started asking if I could make hoodies for them too.

Then came more orders.

One order a month slowly became one order a week. Before I realized it, it became an everyday thing.

While most of my friends were planning trips and preparing for exams, I was learning how to negotiate with vendors, manage deliveries, deal with clients, coordinate designs, and somehow keep everything running with almost no resources.

There were days when inventory was literally stored in friends’ houses because we didn’t have enough space.

Clients would come to meet me in a tiny 100 square foot office in Richmond Town. Looking back now, it sounds crazy. But at that time, it was just pure hustle, excitement, panic, and hope mixed together.

I still remember handling calls, production, logistics, sales, and customer support all by myself. There were sleepless nights, missed meals, failed experiments, delayed deliveries, and moments where I genuinely questioned whether this was worth it.

But there was one thing that kept me going.

People were happy.

They weren’t just buying products. They were buying memories, identity, team spirit, culture, and emotion. That realization changed everything for me.

Slowly, Your Design Store started becoming bigger than just “printing hoodies.”

We began working with colleges, startups, corporates, global organizations, campaigns, and communities. What started from one college order slowly turned into a full-fledged customization and merchandising ecosystem.

Today, when I walk through our office or production floor, sometimes it genuinely feels unreal.

Because deep down, I’m still that same college kid trying to figure things out.

The only difference is… now the dream became bigger.

And honestly, this is still just the beginning.
